My research stems from a long-standing fascination with imagery. I’ve always been drawn to the visual world, constantly collecting things that catch my eye, even when I don’t fully understand why. My family instilled in me the habit of looking closely and thinking deeply, which naturally led me to explore what lies beneath the surface of images. Over time, that instinct to gather and archive became more deliberate. At university, we were taught that research and experimentation form the foundation of creative practice. For me, that practice has always leaned toward the former—I’ve become something of a visual archaeologist, unearthing references from every corner of life and storing them in a messily curated, entirely personal system that probably only I could navigate.

Here, I simply wanted to share some of the imagery I love, alongside research pieces that dig into specific subjects that have captured my curiosity.

Rave. Rave. Rave.

I’ve touched on how my degree really pulled me into the world of creative research, and the project I made during that time feels like a natural extension of everything I was beginning to explore.

When I think about my creative self, there’s one clear through-line that helps define my work: I’ve always been drawn to the ethereal and surreal, yet I’ve also developed a deep appreciation for the documentary and the grounded. If I had to distill my core interests, they lie somewhere at the intersection of music culture, youth and countercultures, and anything with a slightly cultish edge. My final university project on rave culture brought all three of those threads together into one chaotic, cohesive whole.

here if you’re curious!

I have several ongoing research projects that explore different subjects or focus on specific narratives. They’re not in a shareable format just yet, but I’d be more than happy to chat about them if you’re interested.
